2026-09-29 13:51:17
According to CoinMeta, McDonald's ( MCD ) stock has fallen by about 32% since early March, while the yield on 10-year U.S. Treasury bonds has risen by nearly 32% during the same period. Analyst Tom Lee expressed uncertainty about why the two show opposite trends. Data shows that the yield on 10-year Treasury bonds rose from around 4% to 5.24%, hitting a 19-year high, while McDonald's stock declined from over $340 to $233.60. In recent times, the yield has risen 19 times in 23 trading days, an increase of 14%, whereas McDonald's stock has fallen by 14% during the same period.
