Institutions: Gold stops falling and rebounds, but pressure remains; markets await guidance from U.S. economic data

CoinMeta US stock news: Institutional analysis indicates that spot gold rose slightly on Tuesday, but still traded below $4,200 per ounce. Previously, the yield on US Treasury bonds rose to multi-decade highs, and the increase in crude oil triggered a sell-off in the precious metals market on Monday. Analysts say that since markets expect the Federal Reserve to maintain high interest rates for an extended period, this has diminished investors' interest in yield-free assets. As a result, gold only rebounded slightly and is currently still near its lowest level since early August. According to CME fedwatch tools, traders currently expect a 72.5% probability of a Fed interest rate hike in October. The market is currently focusing on a series of US economic data, including the consumer confidence index and job vacancy data to be released later on Tuesday.
