According to CoinMeta, as reported by Digital Asset, the Bank of Korea (KB Kookmin Bank) announced that it signed a strategic cooperation memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Bank of New York Mellon (BNY) at the SIBOS 2026 conference. The two parties will collaborate on "innovation in cross-border digital asset payments and remittance services." The Bank of Korea plans to leverage Bank of New York Mellon's global payment network and its capabilities in "___to___" to serve foreign nationals and international students. In the future, the two sides will also deepen their collaboration in areas such as digital payments, digital assets, and next-generation financial infrastructure by integrating their foreign exchange and settlement networks.
