CoinMeta data: According to U.Today, Apple has fixed a serious iPhone vulnerability that may have already been exploited in highly sophisticated attacks. Blockchain security company SlowMist warns that this vulnerability is particularly relevant to cryptocurrency users. The vulnerability, identified as CVE-2026-86950, affects Apple's CoreGraphics framework and may allow attackers to execute arbitrary code after the device processes malicious files. Apple released updates iOS 26.7.1 and iPadOS 26.7.1 on September 28 to address this issue. Apple stated that it is aware of reports indicating that the vulnerability "may have already been exploited in extremely complex attacks targeting specific individuals." SlowMist notes that this update is highly related to recent exploitation activities targeting cryptocurrency users.
