He said, "If the U.S. side is interested, we are absolutely willing to facilitate this." Sinkevičius also mentioned that he had conversations with John Kelleher, the special envoy sent by U.S. President Donald Trump to neighboring Belarus, and expressed gratitude to the Trump administration for sending a new batch of "up to 1,000 U.S. troops" to Lithuania for rotation, stating that this move makes Lithuania "feel more secure" in the face of neighboring Russia's "imperialist ambitions."
