Riot Platforms Fully Repays $200 Million Coinbase Credit Line

According to CoinMeta, on September 21st, Riot Platforms fully repaid the principal and accrued interest of the credit line granted by Coinbase Credit, without incurring any early termination fees. As a result, the remaining committed credit line of Coinbase was also closed accordingly. This $200 million credit line, secured by Bitcoin, had an interest rate of 6.15% after being revised in April, and the annual interest amountled to approximately $12.3 million upon full withdrawal. As of June 30th, Riot Platforms had pledged 5,821 Bitcoins, which were valued at around $341 million at that time, accounting for about 51% of its total Bitcoin holdings of 11,400 coins. The related security interests were released with the repayment.
