According to CoinMeta, the Lumia community is voting on governance proposal LGP-01. The proposal suggests that the Lumia Foundation treasury repurchase approximately 18 years of remaining rewards for HyperNode holders at a fixed price of 0.09 USDT per coin. This price represents a premium of over 10% compared to the Lumia / USDT price of 0.0812 USD in the past 30 days. Additionally, the existing HyperNode reward program will be terminated. All the repurchased LUMIA coins will be allocated to the newly established Lumia Foundation Growth Initiative fund, which will be used for projects such as RWA, AI Agent, government and sovereign blockchain deployments, institutional collaborations, liquidity, and developer ecosystems. No new LUMIA coins will be minted as a result, nor will the total supply increase.
