According to CoinMeta, the investigation into the security incident on September 24th involving Mandiant and Bitget found that the attackers accessed some third-party security devices without authorization. Subsequently, they gained lateral access to the wallet environment of the Bitget exchange and obtained access rights to both cold and hot wallets. These findings are consistent with the attack path previously disclosed by Bitget.
