According to CoinMeta, the built-in cryptocurrency wallet “Wallet in Telegram” has officially been renamed to “Walt”. At the same time, Telegram has launched a simpler cryptocurrency platform aimed at approximately 1 billion users, designed for purchasing and using Gram, sending Gifts, purchasing Stars and making transfers within Telegram. Walt continues to cater to more advanced users, offering multi-chain assets, trading, financial management, cross-chain transfers, as well as tokenized stocks and gold services. In addition, Walt also plans to introduce cryptocurrency cards and AI-powered trading features, which will help users analyze the market, assess portfolio risks, and execute smart contract transactions through a conversational interface.
