Bitcoin wallet that hasn't been touched in 15 years suddenly comes back to life, worth about $1.7 million

CoinMeta data: According to U.Today, an ancient Bitcoin wallet suddenly came back to life after more than 15 years of inactivity. The wallet had not been touched since May 2011 and currently holds approximately $1.7 million in BTC. Based on Galaxy Research data, on September 29th, $20.43 million related to this address was transferred in two transactions. Analytical firms estimated that the historical average cost of this amount was around $4 per coin, resulting in a profit of about $872,000, which represents a gain of 2,192,671%. The estimated cost of the remaining $10.10 million is only about $3 per coin. Galaxy estimates that the total profit from these two groups of coins is roughly $1.724 million. The research firm was unable to confirm the identities of the sender or recipient. Recently, there have been several transfers involving coins that had not been moved for a long time; on September 5th, 12 wallets transferred a total of 600 BTC, worth about $48 million, all of which came from mining rewards from March 2010. Blockchain investigators did not find any evidence indicating that these coins belonged to Bitcoin's founder, Satoshi Nakamoto.
