CoinMeta US stock news: Euro credit default protection costs decline, market sentiment improves. As Micron Technology ( MU.O ) releases strong financial results that boost market optimism, coupled with weak US economic data and remarks from Federal Reserve officials that reduce the likelihood of another interest rate hike next month, euro credit default protection costs have fallen accordingly. IG Analysts stated in a report that "strong earnings performance and enthusiasm for artificial intelligence" have overshadowed market concerns about high borrowing costs. The iTraxx Europe Crossover index, which measures euro high-yield credit default swaps, fell by 5 basis points to 296 basis points. However, S&P Global Market Intelligence data shows that the index is still close to its near six-month high of 301 basis points reached on Tuesday.
