CoinMeta Data: Open Standard announces the official launch of the US dollar stablecoin Open USD ( OUSD ). Enterprises and developers can integrate it through Mastercard, Stripe and Visa Stablecoin Platform. Integration is expected to be available on October 1st with Coinbase. OUSD supports free minting and burning at a 1:1 exchange rate to the US dollar, and will be natively deployed on Base, Ethereum, Solana and Tempo. Trading will begin on platforms such as Coinbase, Kraken and Uniswap. OUSD is issued by Bridge under Stripe, with reserves held by BlackRock, Lead Bank and BNY. Reserve certifications will be published monthly.
