According to CoinMeta, LinkedIn CEO Dan Shapero indicates that the number of job applicants has increased by 30% compared to before the pandemic. He pointed out that in their search for stable jobs, applicants are submitting a large number of applications, and AI has become their valuable assistant. However, the surge in applicants has made it more difficult for employers to find suitable talent. In August, the number of job vacancies in the United States dropped to its lowest level in five months, at around 7.08 million, which is significantly lower than the previous month. Shapero also mentioned that recruitment managers now need to use AI tools to cope with the flood of applicants, with approximately 99% of recruitment managers stating that they use AI in the hiring process.
