According to CoinMeta, Gracy Chen, the CEO of Bitget, stated that since the protection fund has reached $309 million, Bitget will resume withdrawals for all tokens on Friday. This protection fund was established in 2022 with the aim of compensating users for potential losses caused by security incidents. The resumption of withdrawals comes after a security vulnerability that resulted in users losing $388 million. Chen also mentioned that Bitget has restored users' access to Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and USDT.
