According to CoinMeta, with the rise of artificial intelligence, AI is changing the way Hollywood works. The video startup Higgsfield AI, whose film Hell Grind premiered in Cannes, France, has attracted public attention. The film was produced with a budget of just 500,000 dollars in less than three weeks, and all the synthetic actors and visual effects were generated by AI. Higgsfield AI's co-founder and chief strategy officer, Mahi De Silva, stated that although AI plays an important role in production, traditional roles such as directors, screenwriters, and actors will still be needed for future films. According to McKinsey's predictions, by 2030, AI could impact up to 20% of original content spending, despite varying audience reactions to films produced by AI. Higgsfield AI recently raised 400 million dollars in its latest round of financing, with a valuation of 5.4 billion dollars.
