According to CoinMeta, Microsoft senior executive Peter Lee ( Peter Lee ) announced on Wednesday that he will be leaving the company. He has led Microsoft's internal research department for many years and is one of several senior executives who have announced their departures this year. Since the beginning of this year, office and windows business leaders Rajesh Jha, xbox CEO Phil Spencer, Chief Communications Officer Frank Shaw, and Security Director Charlie Bell have also announced their plans to leave. Peter Lee joined Microsoft in 2010 and assisted in leading a research department with about 1,500 scientists, focusing on various fields related to Microsoft's business, including artificial intelligence, quantum computing, search, robotics, and cryptography. These research achievements have led to several new Microsoft products, including the quantum computing chip launched by the company last year, which the company says has the potential to shape the future of computing technology.
