CoinMeta US stock news: Japan's major licensed cryptocurrency exchange Bitbank announced that the process of making SBI Holdings a wholly-owned subsidiary was completed on October 1st. With Bitbank repurchasing its shares from MIXI and Ceres, a series of previously planned transactions have now been fully implemented. As a result, Bitbank has now become a subsidiary of SBI Holdings with an indirect 100% stake. The total consideration for the share acquisition and capital increase was approximately 46.7 billion yen. Bitbank CEO's Kishi will continue to serve in his current role, and Bitbank stated that this transaction will not affect the existing exchange services. In the future, they plan to leverage SBI's financial capabilities, customer base, and resources to expand their digital asset business.
