According to CoinMeta, International Energy Agency Director Birol stated that the diesel markets in Europe and globally are very tight, with diesel prices having reached record highs. He expressed concern about diesel prices, anticipating that rising diesel costs will drive up inflation in agricultural products over the coming months. In addition, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) prices have also caused problems in regions such as Africa and India. Birol also mentioned that he would speak later on whether to release strategic reserves.
