Synthetic tokenized stocks are unfavorable for American investors

According to CoinMeta, the tokenization of stocks has had a negative impact on American investors. Adam Allen, CEO of AMC, stated that Robinhood tokenized AMC stocks without consent, calling the product "despicable." Vlad Tenev, CEO of Robinhood, responded that consent was not required, and that Robinhood was merely aimed at meeting the international market's demand for American stocks. These tokens are debt securities issued by Robinhood's overseas subsidiaries, which Allen referred to as a "fictitious synthetic stock market." Tenev believes that tokenization provides millions of international investors with an opportunity to access the American market. The United States has a population of about 340 million, and there is also a considerable number of investors living outside of the country, but most of them are unable to purchase American stocks at reasonable prices. By expanding access through tokenization, global investment will flow into American companies.
