According to CoinMeta, and as reported by the San Jose Police Department in California ( SJPD ), with the assistance of multiple departments, the police arrested two suspects suspected of attempting burglary in Dallas, Texas: Damian Vielma (20 years old) and Jeremiah Clybourn (19 years old). The incident occurred on the evening of September 5th when the two suspects disguised themselves as delivery workers to deliver packages to a residence. One of them wore a ski mask and drew a gun, attempting to force entry but fled after failing. Investigations revealed that the suspects were involved in a series of crimes across multiple jurisdictions (including Atherton City), using the same tactic of impersonating delivery personnel to target high-net-worth individuals holding large amounts of cryptocurrency assets for burglary. Law enforcement officers seized criminal evidence, including firearms, during their search of their residences. The two suspects are currently detained in the Dallas County jail and await extradition back to California for trial.
