Elon Musk mocks Delta Air Lines, claiming that internet access is unavailable on their flights

According to CoinMeta, as reported by Benzinga, Elon Musk mocked Delta Air Lines (Delta Air Lines) for their Wi-Fi on flights, stating that using AI on Delta flights is the "best way to be in a sandbox" since it cannot connect to the internet. This represents the latest escalation of his criticism against Delta, as the airline chose Amazon's Leo satellite network over SpaceX's Starlink. Musk warned that Delta may lose customers, while United Airlines has already installed Starlink on 450 of its planes and plans to achieve broader coverage by the end of 2027. Delta plans to start installing Amazon's Leo on 500 of its planes in 2028. Delta currently offers free Delta Sync Wi - Fi on over 1,200 of its planes, with more than 160 million customer sessions recorded. American Airlines also plans to install Starlink on 500 of its narrow-body planes in 2027.
