CoinMeta Data: The Drift Foundation has launched the DFX claim restoration and redemption process on October 1st. Victims can apply for compensation of approximately $3.11 million, with the initial payout covering nearly 1% of the verified losses. Affected users have the option to claim the allocated tokens, exchange them for USDT, or retain their share of the future restorative funds. According to the foundation's terms, the total supply is about 299.5 million DFX, and no additional tokens will be minted. The redemption amount for each token is equal to the USDT balance in the restoration pool divided by the outstanding DFX supply. Drift indicates that the initial redemption rate is about 0.0104 USDT per token, which means a claim representing 1000 USDT in losses can initially be exchanged for about 10.40 USDT.
