The US may send additional troops to the Persian Gulf, increasing supply risks in the Middle East and driving up oil prices

According to CoinMeta, as signs of escalating conflict in the Middle East intensify, concerns that the region's energy supply recovery process may be hindered have grown, leading to rising oil prices for a third consecutive trading day. A U.S. official revealed that the U.S. Department of Defense may send an additional aircraft carrier, along with 10,000 sailors and Marines, to the Persian Gulf, providing more options for Trump's decision to escalate military actions against Iran. Wall Street analysts stated that crude oil supply in the region is approaching pre-war levels, but refined oil supply has not yet recovered to the same extent. The latest indications show that the U.S. naval blockade is cutting off Iran's access to energy markets: it appears that Iran did not load any crude oil onto tankers in September. Brent crude oil has still risen by about 70% this year.
