2026-10-02 10:23:15
According to CoinMeta, in its financial report for the first quarter of the fiscal year, Nike exceeded Wall Street's expectations with a profit of 48 cents per share, surpassing the consensus of 43 cents. However, revenue of $1.121 billion fell short of the expected $1.132 billion, and net income still decreased by 2%. Nike stated that the 4% decline in revenue was mainly affected by the Greater China region, as well as Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, with revenue in the Greater China region dropping by 22%. Analyst Zachary Warring predicts that Jordan's brand will stabilize in the coming quarters, but it still faces operational challenges at present. Nike plans to achieve cost savings of about $2.5 billion before the 2031 fiscal year, with layoffs beginning in 2027.
