CoinMeta data: Bitcoin saw a slight increase before the release of the latest U.S. employment data, breaking through $86,885 on Friday before falling back to around $86,000, with a daily increase of about 1.5%. The unemployment rate is expected to remain unchanged at 4.1%, while non-farm payroll is expected to increase by 90,000, lower than the 162,000 in August. The yield on 10-year U.S. Treasury bonds has reached a multi-year high of 5.34%, driving Bitcoin to fluctuate in the range of $82,000 to $85,000. Meanwhile, the U.S. Dollar Index ( DXY ) broke above 102 on Thursday, hitting a 18-month high. A strong dollar usually puts pressure on risk assets, but Bitcoin continued to rise. The euro exchange rate against the dollar has fallen to around 1.12, the lowest level since May 2025, and concerns about France's public finances have increased pressure on the euro. France's five-year credit default swap rates have climbed to multi-year highs, and the yield gap between French and German 10-year Treasury bonds has also widened to the largest in 14 years. France's borrowing costs have surpassed those of Italy and Greece.
