Binance Adjusts the Process for Brazilian Users to Withdraw Overseas Crypto Assets
2026-10-02 21:06:37
According to CoinMeta, since November 1, 2026, Binance has adjusted the process for Brazilian users to deposit and withdraw crypto assets in order to comply with the Central Bank of Brazil's Resolution No. 521/2025. When users send or receive crypto assets outside of Brazil, they are required to provide the purpose of the transfer and confirm the identity of the recipient. These requirements apply to foreign trading platforms and self-hosted wallets; transactions within Brazil are not affected. If the counterparty is not an institution authorized by the Brazilian foreign exchange market, the maximum amount per transaction is $100,000, which may be increased to $500,000 in the future. Failure to provide the required information will result in the inability to submit withdrawals or delays in processing deposits. This adjustment does not affect travel rule.
