CoinMeta data: Hackers used Microsoft's official X account to promote an unauthorized Clippy themed token, and this promotional activity was deleted about 30 minutes later. Microsoft confirmed this security vulnerability and stated that they are investigating how it occurred. In a statement, Microsoft rejected the request for the token to use their brand and indicated that they would take legal action to remove the token and related marketing. The statement also pointed out that holding the token does not grant any rights to the holder within Microsoft Corporation. The promotion of this token raised doubts about its association with Microsoft's stock, and Microsoft clearly stated that its stock has no relation to this token.
