Study: By 2030, Gen Alpha will use voice to communicate with bosses instead of emails

According to CoinMeta, research shows that by 2030, when Gen Alpha enters the workplace, they will no longer use emails to communicate with their bosses, but instead will use voice messages. The London School of Economics warns that the era of keyboards is coming to an end. This research, in collaboration with audio technology company Jabra, predicts that by 2028, voice AI will become the new norm in work. The study indicates that in the coming years, employees will converse more with their mobile phones or laptops rather than type. Jabra, the head of global brand communications for Paul Sephton, stated that with the full integration of AI, work will primarily be conducted in oral form. He predicts that typing will only be used as a secondary method of editing, rather than a primary means of thinking. Although the widespread adoption of voice technology may improve work efficiency, it could also lead to communication barriers, especially for those who are not native speakers or have language difficulties, as using voice recordings may cause more complications.
