According to CoinMeta, OKX has jointly submitted an application with the parent company of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) to launch a platform for tokenizing U.S. stocks. The platform will offer tokenized shares of over 60 U.S. listed companies, taking advantage of the innovative exemptions recently introduced by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). OKXICE LLC is a joint venture between OKX and Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), the parent company of the NYSE, and has informed the SEC of its plans. Andrew Cumo, co-chairman of OKXICE, stated, "This is a milestone toward a truly global, 24/7 Wall Street."
