AI Sector: The Gap in Proxy Orchestration Urgently Needs to Be Addressed
2026-10-05 15:38:39
According to CoinMeta, as reported by Forkast, the current state of AI infrastructure is akin to a set of precision-engineered gears: each component is fully functional, yet there is a lack of the chains or belts necessary to drive the machine. Enterprises are eager to bridge the 80-point gap between experimentation and production, but the industry remains stagnant due to fundamental architectural gaps. Three major companies are attempting to solve this problem, yet they each approach it from different perspectives. AWS Bedrock AgentCore provides a comprehensive environment, but it remains a closed ecosystem. Google's Gemini enterprise proxy platform focuses on horizontal coordination through the A2A protocol, while Cisco's DefenseClaw framework excels in terms of security and observability, but avoids complex cross-protocol coordination. Although standardization organizations are conducting interoperability tests, building a production-level meta-orchestration layer still poses challenges. Gartner predicts that by 2027, over 40% of AI projects will be canceled, and 87% of IT leaders will prioritize interoperability. The gap in proxy orchestration remains the main challenge of the current infrastructure cycle, and until a meta-orchestration layer emerges, enterprises will continue to face fragmented implementations.
