CoinMeta data: According to Cryptopolitan, crypto spot trading saw a recovery for the second consecutive month in September, with increased spot activity on centralized exchanges, indicating a return of both retail and institutional orders. Based on Cryptorank data, spot trading activity in September reached $973 billion, with Binance still holding the largest share. August was the first month of a rebound in spot trading, coinciding with the early recovery of BTC and ETH. The recovery in spot trading in September also aligns with an increase in new crypto asset listings; the number of new assets in the third quarter grew by 47% compared to the previous quarter, totaling 517 new assets. Although overall spot trading in the third quarter decreased by 14% compared to the second quarter, the results in September are seen as a potential signal of a trend reversal.
