According to CoinMeta, the DEFI revenue aggregation protocol Beefy has announced the cessation of all products and integrations on Sonic, and has withdrawn from its Sonic validation nodes and BES product line. Related revenue and validation node rewards have also been stopped. Beefy stated that the Sonic ecosystem performed poorly during the market downturn, with its DEFI TVL declining gradually from a peak of over $1 billion in May 2025 to less than $100 million by December of the same year. Currently, there are still over 2 million S tokens entrusted to Beefy's now-exited validation nodes. Beefy urges users to withdraw their stakes, and BES holders can redeem the underlying S tokens, but they will need to wait for 14 days.
