Blackstone President Jon Gray Debunks the Artificial Intelligence Bubble Theory, Claiming Demand Is Growing in a Parabolic Pattern
2026-10-22 23:08:13
According to CoinMeta, Blackstone Group President Jon Gray refuted the claims of billionaire Ken Griffin that there is a bubble in artificial intelligence. He stated, "When it comes to bubbles, you think of building capacity first and then hoping for demand to emerge. But in the AI sector, you are building capacity while also hoping to keep up with the demand." Gray believes this is "a completely different situation" from phenomena such as the telecom bubble in the 1990s. He mentioned Blackstone's jointly established AI consulting firm with Anthropic, ODE, and said, "We simply cannot keep up with customer demand, which is growing almost in a parabolic manner."
