According to CoinMeta, Robinhood Ventures Fund I announced today that it has completed an investment in AI, a programming company known as Cognition, with a total investment of approximately 10 million US dollars. Cognition was founded in 2024 and developed its first team of independent software engineers, Devin, who are capable of independently undertaking project planning, code writing, testing, and deployment in a production environment. By entrusting repetitive engineering tasks to the AI intelligent agents, engineers can focus more on architecture design, system planning, and solving complex problems. Currently, Devin has been deployed in some of the world's largest and most complex organizations, including Goldman Sachs, Citigroup, Wayfair, Mercedes-Benz, and Nubank. Recently, Cognition's annualized revenue operating rate has exceeded 1 billion US dollars.
