According to CoinMeta, Coinbase Derivatives initiated a scheduled maintenance at 5:00 AM on October 24th (US/CN time), during which futures and perpetual contract trading were suspended. The maintenance is expected to last for up to 9 hours and is scheduled to conclude around 2:00 PM of the same day. During the maintenance period, users can still log in to their accounts and check their balances, but they will not be able to open new positions or modify existing orders. This maintenance includes routine quarterly maintenance tasks and also involves participation in the annual disaster recovery drill organized by the Futures Industry Association.
