According to CoinMeta, Claude Code desktop version creator Anthony Morris has announced his departure from Anthropic. He stated that he developed the desktop version because he believed everyone has the potential to become a creator, and leaving this product, which required so much of his effort, was the most difficult decision of his career. In his farewell post, Morris mentioned that he will now have time to play with GTA VI and indicated that he would soon announce his next steps. It is worth mentioning that another engineer, Claude Code, namely Thariq Shihipar, also announced his resignation, stating that he plans to take a break before starting a new job.
