According to CoinMeta, Anthropic entered the submission phase for IPO on Monday, presenting its financial and governance plans to investors for the first time. The company submitted a S-1 form to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), planning to list on NASDAQ with the stock code ANT. According to the submitted documents, Anthropic reported revenue of $16.3 billion in the first half of 2026, compared to $1.2 billion in the same period last year. Despite the surge in revenue, the company still reported a net loss of $8.07 billion, mainly due to non-cash accounting adjustments related to convertible debt. Anthropic warns that it may not be able to achieve or sustain profitability in the future. As of June 30, the company's total cash and short-term investments amounted to $112.4 billion and $19.3 billion, respectively.
