According to CoinMeta, South Korea's KOSPI index tumbled by 5.5%, triggering the seller-side trigger mechanism. In the latest wave of selling, the market value of South Korea's stock market, reportedly, evaporated by over 264 trillion Korean won (about 176 billion US dollars), resulting in a loss of more than 17% for that index in October. Meanwhile, Japan's Nikkei index also fell by nearly 3%, and the wave of selling in AI and tech stocks is spreading across the entire Asian market.
