According to CoinMeta, and as reported by Bloomberg, Bobby Lee, the founder of Ballet, stated in an interview that it is highly unlikely that the bitcoins stolen in the Binance security incident can be recovered, as the relevant assets have already fallen into the hands of the hackers. Binance previously claimed that this incident affected approximately $6.3 billion in assets, and so far, about $3 billion has been frozen. Bobby Lee pointed out that only stablecoins have a real possibility of being recovered, and freezing assets is not the same as actually recovering them. He believes that the crypto market has matured, and compared to the overall scale of trillions of dollars, the loss of several billion dollars this time is not the end of the world.
