According to CoinMeta, French artificial intelligence company Mistral AI released its latest large 4 model (referred to as ml4) on Thursday local time. This model boasts advanced programming and network defense capabilities, and companies can deploy it on their own computers and servers for operation. The model was trained in a data center located in Mistral in Europe, utilizing 3,800 NVIDIA Grace Blackwell GPU. Mistral indicates that the model has a total of 1.05 trillion parameters, with approximately 52 billion parameters actually being activated during each task execution. ml4 achieves industry-leading performance while using only a “small fraction” of the computing power and capital required by closed-source AI companies such as OpenAI and Anthropic.
