According to CoinMeta, a announcement on the blockchain network Stellar indicates that Stellar has now become the default network for MetaMask mobile apps and browser extensions. Starting today, each existing MetaMask account will automatically generate a Stellar address (derived from the user's existing mnemonic phrase), without the need for any additional settings. Users can directly hold, manage, send, and receive XLM, Trustline assets, and Soroban tokens, and exchange them between Stellar and other supported networks. Existing Stellar users can also import their accounts using their mnemonic phrases.
