According to CoinMeta, SK Hynix ($SKHY) reported quarterly revenue for the first time exceeding 100 trillion Korean won, reaching 104.6 trillion Korean won, which is approximately 78.5 billion US dollars. The operating profit was 62.5 billion US dollars, with a profit margin of 80%. The net profit amounted to 29.8 billion US dollars. Long-term contracts have already covered more than half of its production capacity for 2027-2028. Including demand that is still under discussion, its DRAM and HBM memory supplies are effectively sold out until 2029. The company expects a shortage by 2030, indicating that the demand for memory used in computing and artificial intelligence may exceed supply in the coming years.
