Fitch: Financing environment in emerging markets faces challenges
2026-11-01 11:49:30
According to CoinMeta, Fitch Ratings indicates that issuers from emerging markets demonstrated resilience in the third quarter, but if the Federal Reserve's policy stance further shifts towards a hawkish direction and yields on sovereign bonds in developed markets rise, these issuers may face challenges. Fitch stated, "Our baseline expectation is that the financing environment for most emerging markets will become more favorable in 2027. As global inflation pressures ease, the policy pressures faced by central banks around the world will also decrease, but our forecasts still carry significant risks." Fitch's latest projections show that the economic growth rate of emerging market economies, excluding China, will reach 3.3% in 2027, which is lower than the revised 3.6% for 2026.
