According to CoinMeta, Wu said that the number of listed companies that oppose the tokenization of their stocks by the platform OKXICE TSV, a joint venture between OKX and ICE (the parent company of the New York Stock Exchange), has increased to 50. The latest additions include NVIDIA, Micron, Nike, Costco, and Reddit. OKXICE previously planned to offer tokenized stock trading for 62 companies. Under the temporary conditional exemption rules of the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), for stocks that are tokenized by unrelated third parties, the platform is required to notify the relevant listed companies in advance, allowing them to file a written objection within 30 calendar days of receiving the notice in order to prevent the tokenized stocks from being traded on TSV.
