According to CoinMeta, reports from Anthropic show that over 11,900 customers have an annual consumption of more than $100,000 each, accounting for 74% of their total revenue, which is equivalent to $26.1 billion in the past 12 months. The growth rate of this customer group is astonishing: there were approximately 200 such customers at the end of 2024, around 1,500 by the end of 2025, and they have now exceeded 11,900 as of September. The remaining 26% of the revenue comes from about 40 million smaller customers, with each consuming less than $100,000. In addition, government contract revenue now accounts for less than 2%, up from the previous 1%.
