According to CoinMeta, Liquid Network announced that its LBTC token has regained 1:1 support for Bitcoin. Previously, due to a hack in September, most of the sidechain reserves of Liquid Network were stolen. In a statement on Tuesday, the Liquid alliance confirmed that the reserves had been “completely restored” and that the 1:1 support for all LBTC tokens had been re-established. This announcement was made after multiple Bitcoins were transferred into the alliance’s reserve wallet, including the last deposit of 250 BTC on November 2nd. Blockchain records show that when the shortage was made up for, there were approximately 4,268.95 BTC tokens supporting the corresponding number of LBTC tokens.
