According to CoinMeta, Wu said that on November 2nd, Anthropic released an open-source AI inference verification system Flashprove based on zero-knowledge proof ( zkSNARK ), with StarkWare co-founder Alessandro Chiesa participating in the research. This system utilizes cryptographic methods derived from blockchain zk technology, allowing users to verify whether AI outputs were generated by a specified model without having to obtain the model weights or rerun the model. Tests have shown that on a single H100 GPU, it can generate proofs for Meta's 400-billion-parameter model LLaMA at a rate of about 110 per second, with each proof costing approximately 19 MB. Anthropic stated that Claude was involved in system optimization, and they have now made the relevant code and Lean formalized proofs available publicly. The system is still in the research and prototype stage, and the time cost for generating proofs is about 70–95 times that of regular inference.
