According to CoinMeta, Amazon, Tesla, and SpaceX have joined the list of 56 companies that oppose the tokenization of their stocks on OKXICE. According to a statement released by OKXICE on November 2nd, Netflix, Sofi Technologies, and Lam Research are the latest companies to oppose trading their stocks on this platform. These six new objections have raised the total number of objections from 50 on October 30th to 56. Among the 62 companies initially selected by OKXICE, 49 now oppose this arrangement, which is approximately 79% of the initial selection. The companies that oppose include Amazon, Tesla, NVIDIA, Microsoft, and Alphabet, among others. OKXICE is a joint venture between the cryptocurrency exchange OKX and Intercontinental Exchange, aiming to provide 24/7 trading of tokenized U.S. stocks based on stablecoins. Despite the continuous opposition, there are still 13 companies from OKXICE's original selection that did not disclose their opposition in the announcement on November 2nd, including Apple, MicroStrategy, Robinhood, Coinbase, and others.
