According to CoinMeta, on the evening of the 4th local time, the Houthi rebels in Yemen issued a statement claiming to have launched multiple military operations against targets within Saudi Arabia. The statement stated that the Houthi rebels used ballistic missiles to strike Riyadh International Airport, the capital of Saudi Arabia, with the missiles directly hitting their targets and causing severe damage to the airport. The statement warned that Riyadh International Airport is currently not safe. The Houthi rebels once again called on airlines worldwide, airport staff, and passengers to avoid flying through Saudi airspace, except over Mecca and Medina. It was also mentioned in the statement that on the same morning, the Houthi rebels carried out three military actions: they used drones to attack a radar facility on the Ghaimah Peninsula north of Jizan; they used ballistic missiles to strike an Akifa military camp in Najran; and they used ballistic missiles to target a command and control building of the Saudi border guard forces in Jizan.
