2026-11-05 02:10:08
According to CoinMeta, the XRP Ledger ( XRPL ) network activated a new amendment on November 4th, aimed at enhancing network security by addressing potential security vulnerabilities and making existing functions more robust and reliable. This amendment, named fixcleanup3_4_0, brought a series of technical updates, including fixes to token issuance, automated market makers ( AMMs ), lending functions, and other parts of the XRPL network. A key aspect of this amendment is to address potential security vulnerabilities related to token issuance, preventing certain accounts from accidentally issuing new tokens when they are only allowed to destroy tokens. In addition, the amendment made several fixes to decentralized transactions, asset management, and transaction processing, with the goal of improving the predictability of liquidity pools and avoiding potential failures.
